Blizzard!

When we returned to Indiana at the end of December we were surprised to find that it had not snowed while we were gone.  It got so warm on New Year’s Eve that all of our snow melted and everything was green for a few days.  I was just beginning to think that this winter wouldn’t be so bad when it started to snow again.

What was originally forecasted to be just a few inches of snow has turned into a couple of feet during the last 2 days.  This morning we awoke to find everything completely blanketed in white.  Here are some pictures of our winter wonderland.

Jon thought he would just flop backward into the snow, but he got more buried than he expected…

We were cold and wet, but it was a lot of fun!  I’ve never seen so much snow before!
