Bedroom furniture!

Our homemaking process has been a slow and steady one, since we’ve been relying on Craigslist for most of our furniture, and trying to gradually pare down our belongings to fit in the apartment.  Last weekend we got a beautiful addition to our bedroom.  Up to this point we didn’t have a dresser – just clothes stacked on the closet shelf, some plastic tubs and boxes lined up on the wall, and a storage cabinet we built.  I’ve been on the lookout for a nice dresser since we got here, and last weekend we finally found it!  We were so thankful for friends who helped us move it in (during a snowstorm too!).

Unfortunately I didn’t take a “before” picture, but just imagine a blank wall with a stack of boxes.  And here’s the room with the new dresser…
