Six-Month Anniversary!

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and also our six-month wedding anniversary!  We had decided to celebrate on Saturday instead, knowing that Mondays are usually busy for us.  Yesterday morning when I came out to the kitchen to start coffee I found a vase of  red roses sitting on our table!  Apparently Jon slipped out of bed early while I was sleeping and went to pick them up ;-).  What a sweet and beautiful surprise!  I’ve been smiling every time I look at the table!

Jon cooked us a delicious Saturday-morning breakfast …

My gift to him was a home-cooked steak-and-(sweet) potatoes dinner. It turned out to be a delicious meal and a fun evening of celebration!

I can’t believe it’s already been six months since our wedding!  These have been the most joyful months of my life.  Happy half-anniversary, sweetheart!
