Gradual Improvements

When it comes to decorating our apartment, I am realizing that I am a fan of gradual improvements.  I am not someone who can easily envision a lot of changes all at once (like a good scientist :-)) … I take my time and change a room piece by piece until I’m happy with it.  I’ve had my eye on our table for awhile and really wanted something to spruce it up and discourage me from turning it into a place to stack the junk mail.  So a few months ago I was thrilled to find these wooden candlesticks at an antique dealer at our local farmer’s market.  Our friends had a similar set that I kept admiring every time we went over, so I’m excited to finally have some of my own!  I love how they look with my mason jar vase.
