West Point Graduation

Just a few days after Jon’s graduation I flew out to the East Coast for my brother’s graduation from West Point.  I flew into Newark and met up with my mom, sister, and Byron’s fiance for the drive up to New York.  I think we all enjoyed the graduation festivities more than Byron did (something about not wearing a wool dress uniform in the heat and actually getting to sleep that week), but we’re so proud of him!  Here are some pictures from the graduation ceremony and his commissioning.  Congratulations, Second Lieutenant Plapp!

We got caught in a downpour on the way to Byron’s bar pinning ceremony, so we were all drenched!  His mentor was so kind to invite us into his home for the ceremony.
